Rust Inhibitor #6 is a water-based rust inhibitor created for short-term rust protection. Originally blended to prevent rust in wet sandblasting on iron and steel, use this product on any metal needing short-term rust protection with a spray-on or dip process. If coating or painting surfaces, wash Rust Inhibitor #6 off with our Brute Liquid or Brute Powder. Perform a paint adhesive test before applying Rust Inhibitor #6, as it will leave a thin coating. This blend contains six rust and corrosion inhibitors, yet is 100% oil and solvent free. Dilution can be up to 20 to one with water.
