Technichem was founded in 1968 by current vice president and sales master, Jack P. Rencher.  Jack has had long history of sales from vacuum cleaners, homes and property, chemicals, cars and trucks.  Technichem started in a small location in downtown Boise, Idaho.  The company started blending and formulating its own line of cleaners and specialty chemicals.  Some of the original formulations are still in use today. 

Our 1st product, Drox is still being blended today.  The formula is pretty close to the original, with some minor improvements in ingredients.  Our second product, El-Bo Grez is still one of Technichem’s leading sellers.  El-bo Grez is one of the most versatile products on the market today.  El-bo Grez can be used to clean anything from floors, saw blades, smoke filters, shower stalls and apple waxing equipment.  If it is dirty, use El-bo Grez.

Currently, Technichem is formulating and blending more than 100 different products for all types of cleaning and maintenance needs.  We provide products that clean the dirtiest equipment to washing the most delicate hands.  If you have a special or unfilled need in cleaning and maintenance give us a chance to satisfy that need.  A lot of our current product line was formulated for customers who could not get something clean.  

In today’s clean environment, Technichem is always looking at new and old environmentally safe and sound products to provide a safe and clean earth.

After 40 years we are still based in Boise, Idaho and locally owned and operated.   We are now located in a 12,500 square foot production facility a few miles from our original downtown Boise location.  

Our goal is to purchase our raw materials from American based producers and suppliers.    We realize that today we all operate in a global economy, but we will support local and American based business as ourselves first.
